Mary Ellen Waller has been a shareholder and a managing partner of the law firm Feinberg & Waller, APC since 2001. Ms. Waller manages and implements the law firm's procedures and polices. She is admitted to practice law in both the state of New York (since 1985) and the state of California (since 1990). Her undergraduate degree is in Communications, with a specialty in Journalism, from Hofstra University. Ms. Waller received her law degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, at Yeshiva University in Manhattan, New York. She has extensive business management and litigation experience in both the state of New York and California. She has also planned, designed, overseen, and implemented large-scale remodels and construction of several commercial and residential real estate properties, including the current offices of Feinberg &Waller. This has given her a unique perspective and experience in areas of law related to property construction, division of assets and the special circumstances facing many divorcing spouses at the conclusion of their divorce.
Ms. Waller is an elected member of the Cowboy Lawyers Association, an organization of judges and lawyers who ride horses and share a love of the old west. She serves on the Pierce College advisory panel for the Computer Applications and Office Technologies Department. She is an active volunteer in her local neighborhood community and parish. Mary Ellen has received several community service awards, including the Star award, in recognition of outstanding community service from the Bell Canyon Homeowners Association.
