Hunter A. McMillan received his Juris Doctorate from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where he was a member of the Moot Court Honors Board and awarded “Best Direct Examination” at the Ben Franz Mock Trial Competition.

Experience
Attorney Hunter McMillan began his career with Feinberg & Waller, APC as a law clerk.
Prior to joining Feinberg & Waller, APC, Mr. McMillan was certified by the California State Bar under the Practical Training of Law Student Program to work at the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, where he gained valuable exposure to the criminal justice system and experience presenting arguments.
Mr. McMillan was also a law clerk for the Los Angeles County Superior Court, Chatsworth Courthouse, where he had the opportunity to observe a multitude of court proceedings and learned the intricacies of complex civil litigation.
During his undergraduate years, Mr. McMillan worked with Redlands Arbitration and Mediation Services and became versed in alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
Education
Mr. McMillan's legal instincts were first discovered while attending Oaks Christian High School, where he was a captain of the debate team and participated in the Ventura County Mock Trial Competition. His volunteer mock trial coach at the time was Attorney Marshall W. Waller, who recognized and mentored Mr. McMillan's legal talent (which Mr. Waller continues to do today).
Mr. McMillan went on to pursue his undergraduate degree in public policy from the University of Redlands, sparking his interest in law and helping others.
In addition to his studies, Mr. McMillan developed communication and problem-solving skills working as a theatre technician and learned the value of being a team player while playing football for the university. As Alumni Chair and Chaplain for Alpha Gamma Nu fraternity, he honed his organizational skills and fostered connections between active members and alumni.
While at McGeorge School of Law, Mr. McMillan's studies concentrated on international relations. He was also a member of the Public Legal Services Society, where he excelled in leadership and management, reinforced his values in preparation, and aided the local community and businesses by utilizing lobbying as a tool to effectuate statutory changes and reform. His dedication to supporting these programs remains strong.
