About the Authors

Ryan Waller has worked as a research assistant for several law school professors. He is currently in his third year at Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, California, where he is a teaching assistant in various classes and a Dean's Fellow, which grants him the ability to work with other students. He has received numerous academic distinctions at Southwestern Law School. These include recognition as a Dean's Merit Scholar for academic excellence, the Witkin Award for Excellence in Evidence, and participation in the Trial Advocacy Honors Program. He has served as a law clerk for a family law judge in the Los Angeles County Superior Court.

Ryan Waller helped proofread, cite checked authority, provided insights, observations, and editorial suggestions for the California Family Law textbook, enhancing its readability. His extensive contributions and efforts to assist his father, Marshall W. Waller, with this latest textbook have helped make it the best edition yet.

Marshall W. Waller is an internationally recognized family law authority. Local, national, and international news media have published his commentaries as an expert in family law. Marshall W.
